Soakage Test Services Ltd provides soakage testing, data collection, reporting, design services, and detention tank design as described on our website.
All services are performed using our proprietary electronic testing system and according to relevant council requirements and industry standards.
3. Quotes & Pricing
All quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.
Pricing is based on the information provided by the client at the time of the quote.
Additional charges may apply if site conditions, accessibility, water availability, or scope of work differ from what was originally provided.
A variation may be issued if additional test pits, travel, or equipment are required.
4. Client Responsibilities
Clients must ensure that:
Accurate project information is provided (location, access, site conditions, water availability).
Safe and legal access to the site is available during the scheduled testing time.
Any required permissions, notifications, or consents related to the property are arranged prior to testing.
We are not responsible for delays caused by inaccurate information or inaccessible sites.
5. Testing Conditions
Testing durations depend on soil conditions and may vary from 4–8 hours.
Weather, groundwater levels, soil saturation, or other conditions may affect the ability to test or may require rescheduling.
If testing cannot proceed due to site conditions outside our control, a call-out or rescheduling fee may apply.
6. Deliverables & Turnaround Times
Standard turnaround time for reports and data is 2–5 business days unless otherwise agreed.
Deliverables include data sets, reports, infiltration analysis, design documents, and drawings depending on the selected service option.
Urgent requests may incur additional fees.
7. Council Acceptance
We provide council-ready documentation prepared according to E1/VM1 and industry best practice.
However:
Council acceptance or approval is not guaranteed, as requirements may vary by region or project.
We are not responsible for council delays or changes in compliance requirements.
8. Payment Terms
Payments are due 7 days from the invoice date unless otherwise agreed.
Late payments may incur late fees or service suspension.
Ownership of all reports and documentation remains with Soakage Testing Ltd until full payment is received.
9. Cancellations & Rescheduling
Cancellations within 24 hours of a scheduled test may incur a fee.
Rescheduling due to weather or unsafe conditions will be handled at no cost, but availability may vary.
10. Limitation of Liability
Soakage Testing Ltd is not liable for:
Delays caused by weather, site inaccessibility, or inaccurate client information.
Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our reports or data.
Design or construction decisions made by third parties based on our data without consulting a qualified engineer.
Our total liability is limited to the cost of the service provided.
11. Intellectual Property
All testing methods, equipment, reports, analysis, design documentation, and other materials created by Soakage Testing Ltd are our intellectual property and may not be reproduced, sold, or distributed without written permission.
12. Privacy
We collect client information solely for the purpose of providing our services.
We do not sell or share personal information with third parties except where required to complete the contracted work or comply with law.
